January 2005 -- The Cumberland Plateau region has recently come under the spotlight of environmental groups and natural resource planners and managers resulting in a number of controversial opinions, publications and initiatives. The K-T SAF is actively monitoring and participating in this dialogue in an effort to ensure that this region is managed responsibly for future generations. K-T members are encouraged to get involved in this important process at whatever level of interest you can. This section of the web site is here to provide you with access to information on the latest Society and National efforts. Please feel free to provide information, materials or links you think should be included here to the web manager at jmyoung@utk.edu.
